It gives us immense pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, to invite you to the 44th Annual Conference of the Indian Society for Medical Statistics (ISMSCON-2026), which will be held from 25th to 28th November 2026 at the Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Raebareli Road, Lucknow.
The conference will feature keynote addresses, symposia, plenary sessions, as well as oral and poster presentations, covering a wide range of topics in medical statistics, biostatistics, allied disciplines and Artificial Intelligence.
The theme of the conference is: "Synergizing Biostatistics and Artificial Intelligence to Advance Next-Generation Evidence-Based Healthcare."
In addition, three pre-conference workshops will be organized for the benefit of young scholars, researchers, and professionals, focusing on contemporary methodological and applied aspects.
Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, is well connected and located close to several renowned cultural and spiritual destinations such as Ayodhya (120 km), Prayagraj (120 km), and Varanasi (Kashi) (200 km). The city is also famous for its Chikan embroidery, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality.
During the last week of November, the weather in Lucknow is pleasant, with temperatures ranging between 12°C and 20°C.
